50th Year Class Reunion

Plans for our reunion are underway so please save the dates! 

Class Reunion - Friday, October 10 

Welcome program, campus tour, and lunch 

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (approximate)

The "After Party" - Saturday, October 11 

A casual, no host, drop-in evening gathering at a bar

The reunion committee is still working out the details (exact times, locations, program, etc.), but we're committing to these dates so our mainland classmates can make travel arrangements. 

We decided to do things a little differently for this reunion. In recent years, we've heard two things. First, people are interested in seeing the campus, and second, they are more interested in a casual gathering to mix and mingle rather than a formal sit down dinner. 

Because a number of people expressed an interest in seeing how much the campus has changed over the years, we're planning to host our class reunion right on campus. Now that most of us are retired from work, we felt we could have the reunion during the day. For those who haven't retired, we hope you will be able to take the day off to celebrate with us. We plan to have a program, tour, and lunch on campus on Friday, October 10. 

For those who want to meet up for a few cocktails and/or are unable to join us for the reunion on Friday, we're looking forward to a casual gathering on Saturday evening, October 11.

Hello Class of ’75!

I hope you received the postcard we sent out earlier this summer and “Saved the Date” for September 10th and 11th.

As mentioned in the earlier mailing, we’re going to the homecoming football game on Friday night, and then to Ruth’s Chris Steak House on Saturday night. The details and registration form are on the attached reunion flyer. (Since we have your email address, you won’t be receiving anything in the mail.) It’ll be fun getting together with classmates and teachers and catching up with everyone. We’re looking forward to a great turn out so please plan on attending and encourage others to join in on the fun, too!

I have a box of all my MHS Cheerleader uniforms. Maybe all the uniforms for our Senior year 1974 - 1975. Anybody want them for any display, etc? I am moving from OH to CA and wonder why I continue to drag them around after all these years? :) I also have a baseball signed by the 1975 baseball team and various other memorabilia. I know these mean nothing to anyone except me and possibly the Class of 75?!? Thanks for thinking about it. Take care.

Kina'ole Awards Banquet Photos

These pictures from the Kina'ole awards banquet at the Honolulu Country Club on February 16, 2006. Mr. James Kim, our Principal, was one of the four people honored at the banquet. You'll see him in some of the pictures. The other award recipients were Angela Baraquio (MoHS '94), Eddie Maruyama (MoHS '79), and Dean Yamashiroya (MoHS '79).
